Norfolk House is a carefully restored heritage limestone home in a quiet residential neighbourhood. These rules are in place to ensure a peaceful, respectful stay for our guests and our neighbours, and to help protect this historic property.
By booking and staying at Norfolk House, you agree to the following rules and policies.
No parties or events
Norfolk House is strictly not suitable for parties, events, gatherings, or celebrations of any kind. This includes hens, bucks, birthdays, after-parties, and similar occasions.
Registered guests only
WNorfolk House is insured for a maximum of six (6) overnight guests. Under no circumstances may more than six guests stay overnight at the property.
We understand that guests may wish to host a small number of visitors during their stay. Reasonable, quiet visits are permitted, provided they do not:
Cause excessive noise or disturbance
Extend into the evening or quiet hours
Involve parties, events, or gatherings
Result in more than six guests remaining overnight
The property is not suitable for events or group gatherings, and visitor numbers must always remain modest and respectful of our residential neighbourhood.
Any breach of maximum occupancy limits or visitor guidelines may result in additional charges or immediate termination of the stay without refund.
No smoking
Smoking or vaping is not permitted inside the house. Guests may smoke or vape in the garden area only. Please ensure all doors are closed to prevent smoke from entering the house.
Respect for the home
Norfolk House is a heritage property with original features. Please treat the home, furnishings, and garden with care.

Photo ID may be requested prior to or during your stay.
Keys & access
Lost keys, remotes, or access devices may incur a replacement fee.
Guests are responsible for any damage, breakages, or excessive cleaning required beyond normal wear and tear.

Smoking violations
Excessive cleaning
Lost keys or remotes
Breach of house rules (including unauthorised guests or parties)

Norfolk House operates in accordance with City of Fremantle short-stay accommodation regulations. Behaviour that disturbs neighbours or breaches local regulations may result in immediate termination of the stay without refund.
Norfolk House is best suited to guests seeking a peaceful, respectful, and comfortable stay in a historic Fremantle home. If you’re planning a lively gathering or celebration, this property will not be the right fit.
